UW Veterinary Care (UWVC) is excited to welcome a ECC Veterinary Nurse Trainer to their growing team! This position is responsible for supporting operations of UW Veterinary Care (UWVC) Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) and Intermediate Care Ward (IMCW) units. Incumbent will be expected to onboard and train new veterinary staff (CVTs and vet assistants) on basic skills for success in the ECC and IMCW, as well as assisting with hands-on patient care in the small animal hospital.

A minimum of 5 years experience as a certified veterinary technician required. Past experience with training/teaching is strongly desired. Requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. independently and physical and manual dexterity to perform specialized technical tasks.
