Job Title :  Hygiene Production Assistant

Location: Naugatuck, Connecticut

Hours / Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation : $18 - $20 per hour depending on experience, plus $2K bonus and generous benefits package



Responsibilities



CLEANING & SANITATION

• Wash and sanitize production trays, racks, bins and accessories
• Clean walk off sanitation mats 
• Collect trash in production and warehouse areas and place in collection bin
• Document cleaning on designated logs
• Ensure that cleaners in the washing area are clearly labeled

SECONDARY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Assist Manufacturing 
• Preparing trays and cartons for packing
• Packing and metal detection of finished products
• Spread granulated product onto trays
• Weigh and pack finished products (as needed)
• Apply labels on packaged product containers (as needed)
• Cross train to assist and back-up Quality Plant Hygienist with various facility cleaning activities.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma is required
• Valid Driver’s License & car required
• Cleaning experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to safely lift 50lbs   
• Self-motivated, able to perform work while standing for most of the day
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
