Join us as our new Fermentation Operator
You will work as a team member on production equipment to make beneficial bacteria that are used in a wide range of applications across the globe to make the world a more sustainable place. Come join us to learn this unique production experience and be a member of a great working culture.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
Operating and cleaning production equipment like fermenters, centrifuges, and spray dryer
Maintaining clean production environment by learning and implementing hygiene and GMP practices
Using computer skills to communicate, track information, and complete inventory transactions
Actively caring about workplace safety and being an engaged participant in our safety culture
Helping facilitates a process of continuous improvement by learning and applying LEAN manufacturing concepts
Filling out and documenting process paperwork
Maintaining a positive attitude and sustaining a level of diligence and passion about your work
To succeed you must:
Hold a valid driver's license
Have a HS diploma or GED equivalent (higher education - college degree - is heavily preferred, especially in applicable fields such as Biology, Engineering, etc.)
Be able to walk up and down steps consistently, and work at elevated heights
Be able to maintain physical mobility (bend, turn, reach, etc. consistently through work shift)
Be able to lift and manipulate up to 50 lbs. consistently
Have good computer skills - knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications, email, web-based applications, etc.
Be willing to work nights and weekends with 12-hour shifts

Expected Pay Range: $19-21/hour
