About the Role: As a CPR Instructor, you will have the rewarding responsibility of teaching life-saving skills to small groups of 4-12 students in diverse environments such as offices, schools, doctor's offices, and more. This position allows you to make a difference in people's lives while sharing your knowledge in a clear, engaging, and motivating way. You'll set up and clean up for each class, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe environment for all class participants during lessons.
Prepare and organize necessary equipment for each class.
Deliver high-quality, engaging CPR, First Aid, and AED training to participants.
Communicate course material in a clear, easy-to-understand manner.
Respond effectively to emergencies, offering appropriate care when needed.
Build professional relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
Collaborate with management teams and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
Manage and maintain equipment inventory, cleaning, and restocking as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Availability to teach on weekends and occasionally on weekday evenings.
American Red Cross Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED (or equivalent certification from the American Heart Association).
American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, AED Instructor Certification (or equivalent from the American Heart Association).
Proficiency in using online technology to manage course records.
Access to necessary training equipment (feedback-compliant manikins, AED Trainers, and First Aid materials).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Preferred:
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
Ability to teach in Spanish.
Availability to teach at least two weekends per month.
General Information:
This part-time role offers the chance to teach both public and private courses in-person or remotely.
Instruction sessions typically last 4-8 hours.
Instructors may have the opportunity to teach additional lower-level American Red Cross courses.
Compensation:
Hourly pay range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Independent contractor/1099 status.
