What To Expect
As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for upholding the Tesla tone of voice across all customer-facing content—including customer communications, web pages, the Tesla app, vehicle UI, paid content and social platforms. This role is on-site at our Design Studio in Los Angeles and reports to the Senior Copywriter.
What You'll Do - Write copy for email, web, ads, Tesla app, vehicle UI and social
- Proofread, edit, and validate all copy for accuracy
- Adhere to project deadlines and communicate milestones to project partners
- Adjust copy according to stakeholder feedback while upholding copy standards
- Brainstorm creative ways to reach and engage with customers
- Participate in and lead copy reviews
- Maintain an in-depth level of familiarity and product knowledge across all lines of business
What You'll Bring - Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or another related field or equivalent experience
- AP style expert
- 1–3+ years of related work experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Excellent organizational ability
- Skilled at maintaining cross-functional working relationships
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple parallel-path projects

Expected Compensation
$57,000 - $108,300/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
